We are immensely thankful to the UK government for their invaluable support and funding, which has empowered us to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of our centre, enhancing its facilities and services for the benefit of our community. Following months of diligent efforts, the renovation works were successfully completed in January 2024, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards providing an even better environment for young people and service users within Beaumont Leys.

We invite you to explore the fruits of this endeavour firsthand by clicking the button below for an immersive tour of our newly revitalised centre!

Services

Alternative Education

We deliver our alternative education provision, five-days-a-week during term-time. Our team has extensive experience in turning around young people with challenging behaviour and helping them to progress. The courses we provide are mostly practical/vocational activities that ensure young people are well prepared for their future work, education or training. Our courses are awarded through AIM Group and nationally recognised.

Youth Activities

Our Youth Support Workers deliver Youth Sessions to children and young people in the Beaumont Leys and Abbey Wards of Leicester. We currently deliver 8 sessions weekly, Monday to Friday, for children aged 4 to 16. These sessions, lasting anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, offer a diverse array of activities including boxing, football, leadership,  team-building exercises, cook and eat, gaming, indoor sports, group games, music and arts & crafts.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry evolved from a pilot project in 2019. The global Covid-19 pandemic put the brakes on us being able to continue the Food Pantry project but, as we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, we are able to restart this fantastic project. One of the added benefits of this project is that people can save money on their weekly shopping bills as well as knowing they are doing their bit to help the environment.
